At its most basic level, prayer is energy work. It’s a loving act with the intent to uplift others. In return, it elevates us as well. Praying creates a sacred energy that the Most Loving amplifies, giving it more power to support and love everyone on their journeys.
When we welcome and internalize prayer’s energy, it shapes us forever. This loving energy never dissipates.
Everyone has direct access to the Great I Am. Know that your petitions are being heard in the heavens.
What prayer won’t do
Asking the Most Divine for an edge over another is not praying. It is selfishness expressing itself. God never gives preferential treatment to one sports team, one country or one religion over another.
How prayer benefits the recipient
When the person being prayed for welcomes the prayer, they internalize this sacred energy, a high frequency vibration that the Most Loving targets to the needs of that person (see my post “How free will impacts prayer”).
Sometimes it may seem a prayer hasn’t been answered, but it has. It’s just a different answer than the recipient expected. Only God knows what we truly need at any point in our lives.
Does multiple people praying have more impact on a person than just one?
Yes. The combined energy of prayers strengthens the loving energy sent to the recipient. These energies, facilitated by the Most Loving, are merged, exponentially increasing the Holy healing of a situation. The person being prayed for senses support, love and divine light, which guides them to think more clearly and to open more fully to receive the strength they need.
What about people who don’t have anyone praying for them?
Say the struggling person doesn’t want to ask others to pray for them; they don’t want to share their challenges with anybody; or no one has offered to pray for them. That person need only to ask the heavens for help. By opening themselves up to The Most Divine, heavenly hosts (angels, guides, crossed-over loved ones) will lift them in prayer.
When a specific prayer doesn’t fit in with what that person needs
Welcome prayer in all situations: even when a person prays for something that we don’t want. Instead of taking it as a slight, accept it. The Most Loving will convert that prayer to its purest form—that of an intent to help us—and that energy will go toward supporting us.
Make prayer a daily practice
Pray during jubilant times, so-so times and challenging times. Even if it’s just sharing our thanksgiving and joy to the Most Loving. Let’s find gratitude in our daily lives and magnify our blessings by acknowledging them to God. This prevents us from taking life for granted.
Pray for those you love. Pray for those you find irritating. Pray for yourself, as you are worthy of the Creator’s attention. Live your life as a demonstration of prayer, knowing that all you do and all you think is known to the heavens.
May you make prayer (to whomever you pray to) a part of your daily practice to express your gratitude and show love and respect to others.
