Everything and everyone have a purpose in this earthly existence. We all play a part in the larger whole of Creation. And paying attention to sacred light and the holy dark is a way to nurture your ability to receive Divine Guidance.

Sacred light, at its simplest, was God’s first act of Creation. It illuminates our souls, giving us purpose. Sacred light manifests itself differently in each of us. For me, it drives my desire to become a vessel for the Divine’s work. It’s a force for good, promoting heavenly love, respect and connection to everything the Most Loving has created.

The holy dark, which originally was part of the light, was separated to give depth and appreciation of the light. In the darkest of circumstances, the light remains strong, even if it can’t be sensed. A beacon guiding us. Darkness’ role is to counterbalance illumination.

The dark can signify a time to:

  • Rest,
  • Face your fears,
  • Stand in faith,
  • Make different life choices,
  • Humble yourself in the Most Loving’s presence, and
  • Enhance your appreciation of the sacred light.

Darkness is only destructive when we fool ourselves that the light isn’t present. When we understand that the dark has something to show us or requires us to change life directions, we respect it instead of fearing it. We understand the Holy light never leaves us.

Once we’ve fully aligned with the Most Loving’s light, we radiate it to others, channeling the Divine to help them find the light within themselves. When someone shares their light with us, it helps us find our own light. It grows stronger as we continue to appreciate its power.

Light and dark are integral to helping us navigate our journeys. The light illuminates all corners of our lives, even those aspects we aren’t proud of. The dark makes us face our fears and strengthens our faith.
